TWIN 100W VHFTV Transmitter based on LD MOS
technology is designed to meet the high

Broadcasting applications over Band IV & Band V
channel frequencies.

- Two Nos 50W Power amplifier
- Two nos. of VHF TV Exciter
- Power Supply for the power amplifier
- Automatic switching unit
- Rack
- Combiner and monitoring board with
metering panel

The transmitter is housed in standard 19"
Racks. Rack is made up of specially designed
aluminum extrusion. Modular approach has
been adopted for ease of installation and
maintenance.

- TWIN 100W VHF TV Transmitter is fully
solid-state design configuration to the
up-to-date technology in the field of
Broadcasting Equipment.
- Automatic Switching ON/OFF with the
presence and absence of video sync in
the received satellite signal. using
C-Band Analog/Digital TVRO.
- Redundant operation with cold
stand-by Exciter
- Manual/Auto mode selection at
Exciter level.
- Switch over from main to standby
based on ON Line testing of health of
different stages of Exciter.
- Ease of operation, maintenance and
installation.
- The equipment is rugged in
construction and easier to install at
site because of single frame
construction of cabinet.
- Majority of circuits are designed in
the form of Printed Circuit Boards and
combined into functional plug-in
Modules. Thus maintenance and service is
easily to be carried out.
- The transmitter adopts latest
state-of-art approach of using
intermediate frequency for modulating
both vision and sound. This makes the
equipment less complex, economical with
high flexibility.
- More sophisticated mixer technology
used for video modulation for better
video S/N.
- The modulated signal output is
partially protected for the group delay
(which will be introduced by receiver)
by positioning Front Panel Switch “RCVR
PRE CORR IN” ON position at video
processor.
- Advanced designed for Vestigial Side
Band (VSB) filter using Surface Acoustic
Wave (SAW) is employed where minimum
group delay channel correction is
required. Also the SAW filter has
steeper skirt attenuation Outside the
pass band for improved VSB
characteristics.
- Power Amplifier is having LD MOS
device Class-AB operation for higher
Efficiency with inbuilt solid state
protective circuits. It is a wide band
Power Amplifier through out VHF Band.
- Solid-state controlled logic is used
in the system for effective protective
control and status indications of video
and audio of the system have been
provided for ease of operation.
- Band Pass Filter has been used to
obtain clean spectrum and eliminates out
of band spurious/inter-modulation
products as per CCIR recommendations.
- In TWIN 100 W VHF TV Tx. provisions are
kept for failure free
running condition of the transmitter.
- Telemetry system can be interfaced
with the system and central station for
Remote monitoring. of PA/Exciter /AC
pants/DG set/Tx on/off etc as per Customer Specs
optionally
available
- Signal flow display using the state
of the art technology using the Color
LEDs on each unit front Panel
